When most people think of Moses, they think of the great leader who delivered Israel from slavery in Egypt and the man who talked with God face to face. We tend to forget the fact that Moses initially was a failure as a leader. He ran ahead of God and got into trouble. He was insecure and doubted his abilities. He tried to do everything himself and avoided delegation. He had a problem with anger.
How did he journey from failure to effectiveness? How did he go from hiding his face from God to talking with face to face. As we study the life of Moses in Exodus, Numbers, and Deuteronomy, we will discover the answers to those questions. In the process, we want God to transform our lives and help us become men and women who model the spirit of Moses today.
