Goals of Veritas
Veritas is designed to help each person develop: (1) a working knowledge and a complete overview of the Bible in context; (2) an understanding of, and demonstrated ability to use, Christian theology in the current culture; (3) in-depth, usable skills for ministry; (4) an overarching biblical philosophy of ministry; and (5) skills and methods for life-long learning.
Curriculum
The basic curriculum falls into six broad categories: Biblical Studies; Theological Studies; Ministry Foundations; Ministry Skills; Character Development; Life Issues.
Formats
Veritas courses will take a variety of formats to maximize time and learning. These formats include traditional classroom, seminars, independent study, practicum, mentoring and others.
Costs
While UEFC will underwrite the majority of costs, students will be expected to participate financially through the purchase of materials and resources for each course.
